Description
RARE German pressing. Record condition (EX) very light brush scratches on otherwise smooth, glossy vinyl, sleeve also excellent, smooth, clean with some wear on record entry edge. Please see pictures.
Released March 1, 1964, on RCA Victor Records, in both mono and stereo, LPM-2899 and LSP-2899. Produced by Hugo & Luigi. Recording sessions for the album took place at RCA Victor's Music Center Of The World in February and December 1963 and January 1964, engineered by Dave Hassinger.

He is recognized as one of the founders of soul music and one of the most important singers in soul music history. Details about his death are still in dispute; official police records state he was killed by a gunshot. Younger brother of Charles Cook (who co-wrote Chain Gang) and elder brother of L.C. Cook.
Inducted into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 (Performer). Inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1987.
