Description
Up for sale is a used but like new copy of Santana’s: Abraxas from Mofi’s Ultradisc One Step collection recorded on 2 x 45rpm 180g LPs. This album is out of production and from a very limited run of these being made, this copy is serial# 2446/3000. Arguably his best album and a must own for the Santana super fan. I have heard each of the first 7 One Step albums released thus far and this is easily the most mind blowing sound of all of them, possibly some bias there because I am a huge fan of this album. This is my personal copy and it plays absolutely flawless. As shown in the photos the top and bottom of disc #1’s outer black cover sleeve have wear from not being packed up carefully at the factory, and a couple of the labels have marks in the center from not being put on 100% perfectly centered. I discovered this when unpacking for the first time and Music direct was willing to exchange, but they were sold out so I kept it to ensure I had a copy. I am very happy I did as it sounds amazing and this is easily the most sought after of the Ultradisc One Step collection. I guarantee it will blow everyone away that hears it and instantly make any friend that doesn’t believe in spending money on stereo equipment, want to empty their 401k to put together an audiophile grade system of their own so they can play it back at their own home. Like I said I am a huge fan of this album and I have many versions of it on SACD, CD, and many diferent LP pressings, and this one by a long shot surpasses any of them in quality. Mofi knocked it out of the park on this one. I have played this only 4 times!!! and after the 3rd play was cleaned on my Pro-Ject VCS wet/vac motorized record cleaner.
