Postage Warning!!!, Christmas - Australia Post office shutdown 25th Dec - opening again on 30th dec, and also 1 january closed. To ensure being cleared from Airport before christmas, winners should pay before Sunday 22nd Dec, or it may end up in a post office clearing room for a while........or postage be held over by me until New Year 2nd January 2014 as I may well be 'not officially here' for a week !!!

MEGA RARE< ONLY one I have seen in 7 years of online selling THIS LABEL,  is SUPER RARE as a curio, with different first issue label to UK SAX 5256. Officially SAX 5256 first issued with  the Red Semi labels as first editions BUT........

This LP has the same master stampers as the collectible  UK Columbia pressing stock No. SAX 5256. (also YAX 1344-1G , YAX 1345-4G stampers) That UK issue was only ever a RED Semi label as a first edition, but in Australia we issued the turquoise label right thru to at least SAX 5286 that I have seen. (ALSO SOME local 7500 series as local australian only issues)

In All my ebaying I have sold about 10 such labels, (Turquoise but later than SAX 2539, the last official UK Turquoise label SAX issue) they are extremely rare, even in Australia where they were issued.  All Australian SAX Columbias have a suffix to the normal UK stock no. SAXO instead of SAX, but all other details correspond to the UK issues.

Record has a few minor unrepetetive tics, but it is UNWASHED.

FREE POSTAGE POSSIBLE IF.............A near  perfect sounding record , but believe me, as rare as they come with this label, and if you have won 2 or more of my other previous auctions, postage added to that pack will be FREE   I can't be fairer than that !!!!

THE sound sample of  4 minutes 6 seconds, first 1 minutes 48 seconds is of side 1 opening. 

Opening of side 2 commences at 2 minute 5 seconds, and runs the remaining of the sample end. Unfortunately your tinny computer speaker and the poor sampling rate of my turntable (192kbps) is NOT going to display too much sound quality, but will indicate to bidders how relatively clean the record is.  Visually this LP is NM, and it test plays also as NM.

I would suggest this is VERY enjoyable, but ALSO to purchase as a rare curio if you buy SAX turquoise  labels. or KLEMPERER RECORDINGS.

Record fully test played, replays as NM, sound sample on file is the opening couple of  minutes from both sides , where you most likely expect damage from needle lands, or cover scuffs.
