Original 1950s Screamin' Jay Hawkins 78 rpm of "(She Put The) Wamee (On Me)" and "This Is All."  This is on the Mercury label #70549 (pink labels with black print).  This record was issued while he was still known simply as Jay Hawkins!!  This record is in beautiful M- condition with full gloss!!  Both labels are very clean and attractive also, with no writing or stickers on either.  There are just a couple very light spindle swirls on each label.  Playing surfaces are gorgeous!!  Record is housed in its original company sleeve.  A portion of "(She Put The) Wamee (On Me)" can be heard by clicking on the player above.

Note #1:  As most people are aware, 78 rpm records are much more delicate and easily-breakable than 33 and 45 rpms.  Because of this, I ship them in oversized, sturdy boxes by Priority Mail only.  Please use the shipping calculator to determine your fee and also notice the combined shipping terms below.  I will not ship 78s by Media or First Class Mail to any location. Please don’t bid if this is an issue, as I don’t want any disagreements after the sale closes.

Note #2:  Sounds samples, when included, are recorded with a regular (non-78) stylus.  So, depending on the type of setup used, you may achieve even better sound quality than me.  Sound samples are taken from the exact same record being sold and are not doctored or edited in any way whatsoever.

I personally write all of my own descriptions, take all of my own photos, and package all items for mailing myself.  I do not use text, photos or information from “other” sources and would certainly never do so without referencing them. Items pictured in any of my listings are always the actual items that buyers will receive from me.

I will NEVER end any auctions early and I do not do "Buy-It-Nows" either. Any of these types of requests will be ignored. Interested bidders have my complete assurance of this.

I am always happy to offer combined shipping for ALL BUYERS for up to one week from the closing date of the initial purchase. Please do not expect me to hold items for 2 or 3 weeks (or even more) while additional bids are placed. Please try to be considerate of this request when bidding on multiple items on different dates. I can ship up to three 78 records for the exact same price quoted by the shipping calculator for a single one, regardless of location. If you are interested in more than three, please email me directly for a shipping quote, as it will be just slightly higher.  I can ship up to five 78 records in the boxes that I use.  Above five, a new mailer will need to be started at the base shipping price.
