Description

Hello!

First off, please understand that this item for sale is the outer and inner sleeves ONLY!  There is NO RECORD/VINYL in this deal!  What we have here is more authentic and interesting than any mass produced record that can easily be purchased online for a few dollars...

This historic and artistic document and piece of art is symbolic, unsettling, telling and as authentic as it gets.  It tells a part of the story of the people and culture that made these albums cult favorites...

These two sleeves are covered in beautiful, authentic and seemingly vintage gang graffiti from members of the infamous TORTILLA FLATS barrio, one of the oldest and most respected gangs in LA and Compton.  I am assuming these tags date from the 1970s, due to the large collection of other records I received along with this one that had been stored away for decades, all of which were 1970s releases and covered in the same tags and pieces by members of the Tortilla Flats Gang.

I am selling this as a piece of art, in and of itself.  A piece of history, a slice of time, representing a sub culture unknown to most, but relevant on a grand scale beyond comprehension of the average citizen.  Own and behold a piece of authentic, historic and striking display of ART ON ART.  If you've ever wanted to experience the Southern California gangster culture, here is a piece.

The inner sleeve is torn in many spots, and the outer sleeve is split on bottom and top.  Hit me up with any questions.i
