Goth ghastlies The Sisters Of Mercy mark the four-decadal existence of their debut album with a 4xLP box set, which doesn't stop the flow, tracing its fallout alongside the full First And Last And Always album, followed by the band's three most formative EPs: 'Body And Soul', 'Walk Away' and 'No Time To Cry'. The Leeds-born outfit, led by grisly guitarist Gary Marx and vorpal vocalist Andrew Eldritch (sadly not his real name), carved their dark post-punk path from 1980, reaching a wider audience with this 1985 release. This new pandora's box helps capture the pivotal moment when their underground cult began to swell.
