Description
Up for auction is a copy of The Small Faces debut LP, released in 1966 on Decca, cat no LK 4790. This is guaranteed an original first press, with laminated cover and red “unboxed” labels. A classic mod beat LP, including such gems as Whatcha Gonna Do About It, Sorry She’s Mine & Sha La La La Lee.
Condition: not bad at all. There are a couple of minor marks on each side, but nothing serious at all, and everything plays through fabulously; it sounds positively explosive. Both labels have some spindle trails but are otherwise mark-free. The cover has a few minor lamination creases/lifting, and a little feathering on the open edge, but is otherwise problem-free (no tears, writing, seam splits, stickers etc). Easily VG+ all-round. A decent copy of an increasingly rare album.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
