Don’t miss this legendary punk classic from Denmark. Definitely the B-E-S-T Danish punk album ever made. This cracker titled MINUTES TO GO and was released in 1979. Listen to real bombers like ‘R.A.F.’ / ‘Police’ / ‘Television Sect’ / ‘Suicide’ / ‘Copenhagen’ and so on. The following words are printed on back of the sleeve:

 

·         SODS are the premier Danish punk band, a four-piece averaging 20-years of age, raised in the centre of Copenhagen, who have for two years been building up the alternative music scene in Denmark. Inspired by the U.K. punk scene SODS were the first punk band to have a record out and started the first fanzine about punk in Denmark, called ‘Iklipx’, also arranging and encouraging gigs for new groups playing new music, SODS themselves becoming a huge success when they supported Iggy Pop in Copenhagen. The songs on this, their debut album, ‘Minutes To Go’ attack ‘the unbreakable, the static and the monotony’, and reflect SODS desire ‘to break this down’. All the lyrics are in English. SODS are Peter Peter (vocals); Knud Sorensen (bass); Thomas Ortved (drums) and Steen Jorgensen (guitar). Whilst on a visit to London earlier this year (1979), Knud and Thomas played ‘Minutes To Go’ to the people at Step-Forward who immediately felt it was worthy of U.K. release and would like to thank all at Medley Records, Denmark for making it possible.

 

This is the original first UK pressing, released on famous UK punk label ‘Step-Forward’ records in 1979 (catalogue number SFLP 3). Enrich your collection with this classic vinyl and put it on the ‘I must play this every day pile’.

Versand / Mailing: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special LP record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
