SON HOUSE Death Letter (Edsel ED 167) Father Of Folk Blues RARE UK Pressing MINT
Increasingly RARE UK re-issue of Son House`s folk blues masterpiece "Death Letter" on Edsel Records. Originally released on CBS Records (as "Father Of Folk Blues") in 1965, this is the Edsel Records re-issue from 1985.
One of the most intense, most spellbinding blues records ever made. A must-have. Period.

- Small, near-invisible matt area (at top right), from store price sticker removal.
- Also includes insert/portrait of Son House by renowned 60`s photographer Sylvia Pitcher, as found in a Mojo Magazine article (January-February 1994).
MINT(-) RECORD, bought all those years ago and played perhaps once or twice. Simply perfect.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "ED-167-A-1 Timtom" and "ED-167-B-1 Ty".
- This copy of "Death Letter" is fully certified to be an original UK pressing from 1985.
- In truly MINT(-) condition, this copy of "Death Letter" comes from my personal collection.
