SONNY CLARK w/ Paul Chambers and Philly Joe Jones..Blue Note 1579...Mono pressing with RVG and "9m" in the dead wax on both sides. Recessed deep groove around the label as is common with these and the address reads 47 W. 63rd NYC. Nice Copy of this rare LP. COVER: Strong shape for a title this old. About an inch and a half of old tape residue on bottom right cover, not a big deal, see pic, and this is NOT a tear at all, just the residue. General bit of shelfwear but overall displays great..Seams are strong throughout except for a TINY bit of wear to the bottom middle. Back cover has ringwear forming and some shelfwear but again, see pic, nothing huge for a title this scarce. VINYL: Strong and solid VG+ all around. Still has original sheen and looks nice. A fair amount of minor scuffs from being taken out of sleeve but nothing deep at all.Some light crackles and light spindle marks if looked at under light but nothing jumping right out at you. Side Two even less so than Side One..This is a REALLY nice copy in terms of how not often this record pops up. I would imagine finding a mint copy of this is nearly impossible. See pics!
