Description
SONNY ROLLINS,self titled on BLUE NOTE BLP 1542 pressed sometime between 1958 and 1962 , RVG stamped, ear present, For condition please read condition description above. What I know is that the owner of this record wrote 4-14-62 on the labels on this record. All the records or most of his records when he purchased a record he wrote the date and then put his signature on the record to prove it was his. So the record had to be pressed before that date. The Address on label 1 side is BLUE NOTE RECORDS,INC 47 west 63rd -NYC. The Address on label 2 side is BLUE NOTE RECORDS 767 Lexington Ave nyc. The address on the Cover is BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 43 West 61st St/.New York 23 Looks like the Addresses and what was printed on the labels and back happened at a transitional time for Blue Note.. But I cant find info that matches the address disparity so I will start bids low and whomever looks can decide how much to bid.I will put a high limit price for instant purchase which is either rediculously high, or not high enough... Read condition description above, Plays great, just worn corner on cover no splits, You can hear samples from tracks on each side by copying the codes below and pasting to your address bar . and hit enter...and they will play. If you have any problem hearing these samples or if you have any questions about this record please email me and I will try to answer your concerns. I was fortunate to find this and several other Jazz records on Blue Note, Savoy, and Prestige from the 50s and 60s. I will be listing them one at a time so please watch my auctions for them. Thanks for looking... Sincerely Arnysandra... NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING ...Sorry about that.
