ONE MONTH before the recording of the classic NERVOUS BREAKDOWN EP that would cement Black Flag and SST Records into the music history books, Greg Ginn was selling electronics in the back of Ham Radio Magazine. Here's a full page ad complete with the classic SST RECORDS logo, and a design style that set the template for all of the SST catalogs that came after. A VERY RARE piece of music history, and a wonderful addition to ANY Black Flag collection!
The magazine is in great, solid shape with a tight bind and is totally complete. The advert includes a drawing of a tuner, possibly made by Raymond Pettibon??? Perhaps, they were probably on speaking terms then.
