STAN LEVEY – THIS TIME THE DRUM’S ON ME – BETHLEHEM BCP 37 – EX/EX - MONO

This Bethlehem session was recorded on September 27 & 28, 1955, featuring Stan Levey on drums accompanied by Conte Candoli on trumpet, Dexter Gordon on tenor, Lou Levy on piano and Leroy Vinnegar on bass. SIDE 1: DIGGIN’ FOR DIZ; RUBY MY DEAR; TUNE UP and LA CHALOUPEE. SIDE 2: DAY IN DAY OUT; STANLEY THE STEAMER and THIS TIME THE DRUM’S ON ME. This is a mono recording.

I have graded both the LP and the record jacket as EX for the following reasons. The LP is clear of any marks on both sides of the LP. There is little to no wear in or around the spindle hole. There are a few marks around the spindle hole on Side 1 and a couple around Side 2, but not enough to knock it down, considering the overall quality of the LP. The record jacket get’s an EX rating as there are no taped seams and the only sign of wear is on the upper right corner. It just misses a M- rating. There is some minor wear on the cover and on the liner notes, but overall, this is in excellent condition. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
