STARKER CELLO DVORAK DORATI LIVING PRESENCE USA LP

This is an original USA issue of the JANOS STARKER album featuring performances of Dvorak’s cello concerto in B Minor, opus 104 & Bruch’s Kol Nidrei, opus 47 with the backing of the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Antal Dorati. The recording was made on 35mm magnetic recording film to capture the best Stereo sound. This series of recordings was titled Mercury Living Presence. Original version Maroon label with silver print and deep groove.
Cat No: Mercury Records SR90303 (1964).CONDITION:
Cover – Front VG+ with light ring wear.
Back VG+ with light ageing. Top seam has 3” split.
Record – VG with a couple of scuffs & hairlines. Tiny needle drag on side two causes intermittent pops and clicks for a short time underneath the music.
Kept in storage in smoke free environment for several years.
