Description
This is an overall fine copy from the 1975 reissue on the small Blue Canyon label of the second LP by outlaw country singer/songwriter Steve Young, originally released on Reprise in 1972. Appearing three years after Young's debut, Rock Salt & Nails, the record features a new version of the title track, his best known song (it has been covered by Tracy Nelson and Mother Earth, the Eagles, and others), along with "Lonesome, On'ry and Mean" and several other original compositions. It's worth noting that this version isn't an exact reissue, as it includes a re-recording of one track, and replaces a second track with a new song. The jacket has two main flaws: a stain on the back cover, and modest creasing on both the front and back covers. Otherwise, it's in fine condition with mostly light ring, corner, spine, seam, and edge wear. Overall VG. The disc, by contrast, is clean with a little light scuffing, and plays with some light surface noise -- EX(+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
