Remastered From Original Analog Tapes By New York's Sterling Sound!
Analogue Productions is about to rock your world with the greatest Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute ever reissued: Six of Vaughan's most classic album titles combined in this Ultimate Box Set of twelve 200g Vinyl 45rpm LPs for ultimate blues and guitar fanatics!
With his astonishingly accomplished guitar playing, Stevie Ray Vaughan ignited the blues revival of the '80s. Vaughan drew equally from bluesmen like Albert King, Otis Rush and Hubert Sumlin and rock & roll players like Jimi Hendrix and Lonnie Mack, as well as the stray jazz guitarist like Kenny Burrell, developing a uniquely eclectic and fiery style that sounded like no other guitarist, regardless of genre. Vaughan bridged the gap between blues and rock like no other artist had since the late '60s. For about seven years, Stevie Ray Vaughan was the leading light in American blues, consistently selling out concerts while his albums regularly went gold. His tragic death in 1990 only emphasized his influence in blues and American rock & roll.
This is classic Stevie Ray Vaughan, meticulously remastered from the original analog tapes by New York's Sterling Sound. The set includes Texas Flood, Couldn't Stand the Weather, Soul to Soul, In Step, plus the posthumous classics Family Style and The Sky Is Crying.
This box set contains 45 rpm versions of five albums by Stevie Ray Vaughan and also includes the sixth and final album by Stevie Ray recorded with brother Jimmie.
Texas Flood: Texas Flood became a surprise smash and established Vaughan as the preeminent guitar hero of the 1980s featuring the hit song "Pride and Joy".
Couldn't Stand the Weather: The Lone Star guitar master and his Double Trouble bandmates Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton hit their stride with the 1984 sophomore release Couldn't' Stand the Weather.
Soul To Soul: With an expanded lineup, Soul To Soul is one of the legendary guitarist's most highly prized releases that includes such fan favorites as "Look at Little Sister", "Change It", and "Say What!".
In Step: The 1989 Grammy-winning In Step contains the upbeat tracks "The House Is Rockin'" and "Scratch N Sniff".
The Sky Is Crying: A compilation album containing studio recordings by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble between 1984 and 1989.
Family Style: The only collaboration album for brothers Jimmie and Stevie Ray Vaughan was released just one month after the untimely death of Stevie Ray. Not only was it their only collaboration recording, it turned out to be Stevie Ray's final studio performance.
Those of you familiar with Analogue Productions' previous box sets - Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk, Creedence Clearwater Revival - know how deluxe these sets are. From the detailed liner notes to the rarest photographs, these sets will truly be gems.
The truly luxurious — and ultimate — listening experience can be had with this 45 RPM LP set. With so few songs on each side and at 45 RPM, your cartridge will capture every last winsome note.
Each 200g LP set features a look inside the career of a legend whose death at age 35 shocked the music world. A few statistics showcase Vaughan's success and musical influence: His debut album Texas Flood, reached No. 38 on the charts, crossing over to rock radio stations. The album's successor, Couldn't Stand the Weather, released in May 1984, reached No. 31 on the charts; by the end of 1985 it went gold. Vaughan and his band, Double Trouble, recorded their third album, Soul to Soul, released in August 1985, and it reached No. 34 on the charts.
Be prepared to be blown away by this Ultra-High Quality 200g Vinyl 45rpm 12LP set!

Albert King With Stevie Ray Vaughan In Session 180 GRAM 45rpm 2LP SET
Featured in Michael Fremer's Heavy Rotation in the December 2003 Issue of Stereophile!
In Session, recorded in 1983, is the only known recording of Albert King and Stevie Ray Vaughan performing together. Its long-overdue commercial release (the album didn't come out until 1999) stands as a fitting tribute to the genius of two of the greatest musicians ever to have played the blues on electric guitar. Now, it's available on vinyl for the first time.
Anyone who's witnessed a much-anticipated jam session only to be disappointed - with each participant deferring to the other, the end result being that neither ever got out of first gear — will welcome this pairing of two giants of blues guitar. Albert King and Stevie Ray Vaughan obviously shared a mutual admiration, but it simply wasn't in either one's makeup to a) be intimidated or b) take a backseat to anyone. Not without kicking up a little dust.
This is such a precious set to any fan of either of these blues giants. In addition to the free-spirited jams, there are priceless episodes of conversation between each song, both men exchanging accolades and King giving the much younger Vaughan (though tragically it was Vaughan who died first) some sage advice. This simply is a must-have.
Analogue Productions introduced test pressings from their Stax Records reissue at the June 2003 Home Entertainment Expo in San Francisco. Among the exhibitors to show off their wares using these yet-to-be-released 45s was Richard Vandersteen of Vandersteen Audio.
"It was a big hit. The visitors packed the room every time we put it on. For once at one of these shows, there was some music that people wanted to hear. I mean, famous, classic music sounding incredible. It's just great old music that sounds much better than it ever had before. The people just loved it, and we loved playing it." - Richard Vandersteen, Vandersteen Audio

Stevie Ray Vaughan - Live At McNichols Arena Colored Vinyl VERY LIMITED
Stevie Ray Vaughan Live At McNichols Arena In Denver, Colorado, November 29, 1989 on limited edition import yellow LP
Recorded live on November 29, 1989, in Denver while Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble were on tour for their new album, In Step. However, that night Stevie Ray, along with guest guitarist Jeff Beck, did not focus strictly on playing songs from the album, but instead had fun rocking out on versions of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" and Jimi Hendrix's "Voodoo Child," both of which are included famously here.
During their performance of "Life Without You," one of Vaughan's earlier songs, the newly reformed guitar hero even took the time to speak out on substance abuse and plead with his audience not to go down the same road he had. Unfortunately, less than a year later one of the greatest guitar players the world has ever known was dead at age 35 from a helicopter crash. Yellow vinyl with blue label in PVC sleeve featuring blue lettering. From B13 Records. Limited edition of 500 copies!

Recorded live in Albuquerque, NM in 1989 while Stevie Ray Vaughan and his band Double Trouble were on tour for their new album, In Step. During this tour, Vaughan, who had just been through rehab, was out to prove to his fans that he was back with a vengeance, and this live album captures that newfound fury perhaps better than any other live recording. That night Stevie Ray mostly played songs from In Step, including self-penned tunes like "Tightrope" and "Wall Of Denial," which spoke directly to his addictions, as well as classic blues songs like Willie Dixon's "Let Me Love You Baby" and Buddy Guy's "Leave My Little Girl Alone." Also includes a guest appearance by Jeff Beck! Yellow vinyl with blue label in PVC sleeve featuring blue lettering. From B13 Records. Limited edition of 500 copies!
