Description
This is a Japanese red vinyl, white label, promo pressing of the Sugarloaf Spaceship Earth LP on Toshiba / Liberty Records LP-80227 from 1971. I've owned it at least 20 years and have never played it. I try not to play colored records. I collected everything that had to do with Sugarloaf and this is a beautiful rarity. When placed flat it looks burgundy but when you hold it to the light it is reddish pink. There are two marks on it that could just be from the pressing. They are in "Woman" and "Tongue in Cheek". They do not look like they would cause much, if any problem. I bought it as a collectible piece of memorabilia. The cover is designed for a Toshiba promo and is soft cardboard with an attached plastic inner sleeve for record protection. The cover is very nice VG+ to VG++. This would make a unique gift for someone. I've been collecting Sugarloaf items for well over 30 years and I've only seen three of these.
