Description
USA LP vinyl record by Sun Ra titled "Astro Black".
2018 reissue (was originally released in 1973), limited edition of 1,350 on red vinyl with new cover artwork and poster insert of the original cover art.
One of a handful of albums Sun Ra released on the legendary Impulse! label in the early '70s, Astro Black provides a comprehensive picture of where the Arkestra was around this time, drawing to the end of their ultra-free period and beginning to investigate more traditional jazz forms, and even the fringes of funk.
New mint factory sealed in oversized polybag with info sticker on front. Apologies for the glare on the pictures.
Modern Harmonic MH-8080.
