British rock band Supertramp began their long and illustrious career in 1970. By 1979, they had a smash hit album and were burning up the charts! The breakthrough was 1979's landmark album titled 'Breakfast in America'. That rock masterpiece has sold over EIGHTEEN MILLION copies worldwide since it's release! And next year will be its FORTY FIFTH anniversary!
From a hearty breakfast (in America) came the hits: "The Logical Song", "Goodbye Stranger", "Take the Long Way Home", and the title track. Hardly anyone seemed to know much about the band itself, but almost everyone knows Supertramp's songs!
