Description

SETTLE IN FOR A LONG RUN OF COLLECTABLE LPs OF VARIOUS MUSICALS STYLES.  This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1974 PEOPLE RECORDS U.S. PRESS STEREO LP titled 'For Sweet People From Sweet Charles', containing nine funky soul tracks from Sweet Charles, produced by James Brown himself and arranged by Fred Wesley and Dave Matthews.   It is People Records catalog number PE 6603, and is a 1974 U.S. PEOPLE RECORDS ORIGINAL ISSUE, NOT THE RECENT REISSUE.   Tracks: Strangers In The Night, Soul Man, Dedicated To The One I Love, I'll Never Let You Break My Heart Again, Why Can't I Be Treated Like A Man, I Like It Like That, Give The Woman A Chance, Yes It's You, Outa Sight-Outa Mind.  Condition of record is a low to mid VG+ with a moderate amount of surface and sleeve marks, mainly on side 2, which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Condition of cover is a mid VG+ with a cut upper right corner, indicating a promo or a cutout copy, a few small wrinkles, some ring and contact wear, and some wear along the edges and on the corners. There are no splits, tears, writing, or stickers.  This original People Records album would make a nice addition to any 1970s funky soul or James Brown-related record collection!  Winning bidder pays $3.50 media mail postage or actual priority mail postage within the U.S. I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - Uninsured first class international airmail postage to the UK or anyplace in Europe EXCEPT FOR GERMANY is $14.50 - PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS CONTINUING FAILURE TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES, I AM FORCED TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL $11.50 TO COVER REGISTERED POSTAGE WITH TRACKING AND SIGNATURE DELIVERY TO ALL SHIPMENTS GOING TO GERMANY.  I APOLOGIZE FOR THIS, BUT I CANNOT CONTINUE TO LOSE MONEY AND HAVE MY EBAY REPUTATION DAMAGED BY THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS' INABILITY TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES.   Please e-mail me for postage rates to other areas outside the U.S. WINNING BIDDER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP if winning bidder is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
