Record Label: Mobile Fidelity MFSL 2-242 Year: 1960, 1962
Hard to find 200 gram Mobile Fidelity Audiophile version of Sy Oliver's two classics, Oliver's Twist and Easy Walker.
This Original Master Recording was made using the half-speed production process. The pressing was sourced from the original stereo master tapes. The disc was mastered by Original Masteringworks and pressed on 200 grams of High Definition Vinyl.

Record is new and still sealed in it's original plastic sleeve. Perforation is completely intact. Corners are sharp, spine is straight and colors are vibrant. There are no flaws or blemishes... 100% MINT!

Review: A rare find from one of Tommy Dorsey's most outstanding band members: Sy Oliver composer, arranger, trumpet soloist, vocalist! One of the greatest big band arrangers, Sy (a youthful nickname for psychologist) Oliver transforms some familiar standards into a freewheeling swing idiom, stamped with assurance and outstanding musicianship. Oliver's writing made use of many simple, swinging effects, frequent staccato phrases that often had a touch of humor, and a brilliant sense of continuity and climax.
The high calibre of his arrangements allowed musical ideas to flow quickly the band literally radiates rhythmic and harmonic daring and imagination. From the PT Music SESAC radio transcription original master tapes, this Jazz Showcase release features 66 minutes of never-before released recordings.
