Scorpions ORIG GER Promo LP Lonesome Crow VG '72 Brain 1001 Prog Rock Krautrock

Rare GER 1st Press Debut LP released in 1972 on the Green Brain Records label. Cat: brain 1001. Comes in matt gatefold sleeve. Matrix numbers are: ST-1001-A (0664. 112S1) PF < 1 28 0664 112 S 1/ 1 ST-1001-B (0664.112S2) < 1 PF 28 0664 112 S 2. Features Promo stamps on labels.
Something of an anomaly for the Scorpions, Lonesome Crow focuses on deep, dark melodies that sound like a bad combination of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and the Rolling Stones.

There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some crackles in parts and a few light clicks. Side one plays through fine. Last track side 2 has some light clicks for about 10 rotations about half way through the track. Record is in VG condition.  Gatefold matt cover has ring wear, marks, crease marks and some surface tears on back right corner and small surface tears around edges. Also a sticker stain on front right edge. All seams are intact. Also some other small scratches and dents on cover. Cover is in VG condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
