Description
My dad was a big jazz collector. This was in my house as a child, rarely played (I don't even recall it being played once) as it was not his preferred style, became mine decades ago. I quickly released it being White Label and extra rare so it was put into protective sleeves and NEVER PLAYED. That is, until ONE TIME around 2007'ish when I recorded it to FLAC.
There are a few slight issues on the cover but it's in amazing shape and its slight imperfections have been pictured. The vinyl looks and sounds like it was made yesterday! However..... There are three marks of note, oddly all on Side 2. There are two lines of the same size (approx 1/4") across the end of track 1 into the beginning of track 2 (pictured), and one spot a little past mid-way of track three which appears to be a pressing flaw. The two lines produce ZERO noise/pops/clicks, the spot produces a few VERY slight clicks and fortunately the music is very active in that spot so unless you're specifically listening for it and it's dead quiet in your surroundings, you'd never notice.
It's mono, it's white label, it's gorgeous and is truly stunning for its age, certainly a beyond phenomenal playable copy. Play it once to FLAC then retire it!
There are ZERO returns unless you can prove that what you received was markedly different than what was advertised. I have been buying/selling/grading vinyl for over 30 years and have had ZERO issues on ebay.
