As far as I know this is the first cover of Ronnie Laws rare-groove classic Always There. The original is an instrumental but Side Effect added vocals and manage to make this a Disco hit, although keeping the vibe of the original. Side Effects interpretation have itself been covered, Charvoni's 1989 cover also became a hit, this time remade by producers Blaze for the House crowd and a couple of years later Incognito also made a cover with great success. This song is extremely catchy, both the production and the powerful vocals makes this song hook you straight away. To get this as a original release from Fantasy will be pricey but it have been re-releases, then with different color on the label. This is good stuff, check it out!
