Description
For your consideration: the Mosaic boxed set of the Sidney Bechet Blue Note sessions. Six LPs featuring many of the great names in jazz along with Sidney - Meade Lux Lewis, Big Sid Catlett, Pops Foster, Art Hodes, Bunk Johnson, Wild Bill Davison, Joe Sullivan, Vic Dickenson, to name some. Hot jazz at its Bechet best. Typical high-quality Mosaic booklet with titles, discographies and text explaining the various sessions. This set is #1643 of 7500 produced. I bought it new from Mosaic.
Condition is EX. The box looks great, only slightest hint of storage scuffing. Corners fine, slight scuff from shelf entry on bottom front only. Slight appearance of a bow on the box edges is an optical illusion created by my camera; the edges are straight. Records are virtually unplayed. I may have sampled a few cuts, but never listened to the whole set, as I had many of these cuts elsewhere already; just couldn't live without having this set - until now. Times - and available space - change. Hot jazz from some of the best as only Mosaic can present it!
