Six Motown LPs - Jr Walker, 4 Tops, Edwin Starr, Jimmy Ruffin

Selling-up my large record collection, amassed over 50 years. There are new listings every week. Do have a look at my other items - I may have something that you didn't even know you wanted!
Time to talk Tamla. I was always pleased to get any old Tamla album, in whatever condition. Some of the records in my big 2 boxes of Motown, are in rough condition, but almost any sixties album is likely to sound better than it looks, they tend to play well through all sorts of damage. Selling these in batches of six or seven in a lot, at a really low start price, to find new homes for them.

Edwin Starr - Soul Master - USA, Gordy label, stereo, 1968.
Cover - American style manufacture, paper over 2 sheets of card. These damage easily, but this one is good. Not split, and no wear to the image. A bit grubby from handling, and marks on front, following the edge of the record. Back is good, just discoloured from age and normal handling. One corner cut-off. Very nice original paper inner sleeve, with colour pictures of other Tamla albums.
Record - looks very nice. Side one has a little group of marks along the grooves on track 2. Side two has a fingernail impact on track 1, just touching into track 2.
Four Tops - Greatest Hits - USA stereo 1967.
Cover - USA style manufacture, but in excellent condition.
Record - side one has a few scratches and fingernail marks. Side two - has some scratches and surface marks. There's a nasty-looking mark at end of track 4 / start of track 5, and a bouncing series of impacts across the whole side.
Four Tops - Greatest Hits Vol 2 - stereo, from Germany.
Cover - is front-laminated. Shows wear, big crease top right corner on front, back has a loss to surface ink due to ring-wear, near top edge.
Record - side one has a short light scratch at the start of track 2. On track 1, I see three short scratches and a tiny impact. There's a small mark on track 4. Side two - has a little stylus impact on track 1, and a fingernail impact on tracks 1 and 2. A long light scratch from track 1 to track 5, and some other short scratches and surface marks.
Jr. Walker and The All Stars - Soul Session - from Germany, stereo, not original issue?    
Cover - laminated front and back. Shows some wear to surfaces, and wear around the edges. Creases to 3 corners, heavy at top of the opening. Back is good.
Record - looks good - side one some surface marks, and some scratches that are mainly on the lead-in, but going into track 1. Side two - has scratches along the grooves on track 3, and a fingernail mark on track 1. A little surface mark on track 3.
Jr. Walker and The All Stars - Road Runner - UK 1966 stereo. 
Cover - front-laminated with 3 flip-backs. Front is good, some scallop creases. Damage at bottom of the opening. Back a bit grubby from normal handling, small handwriting top right of back.
Record - side one has handwriting on label. There are a few scratches and marks on this side, and some little impacts around the gap between tracks 4 and 5. Two flat impacts on track 5. Side two - has a long, sharp scratch across the whole side. This is double across tracks 1 to 3. Two tiny impacts on track 5.
Jimmy Ruffin...Forever. 1970.
Cover - is front-laminated with 3 flip-backs. Front is still very shiny, with some scallop creases, and some little damages at the opening. Back is very good.
Record - Generally excellent, I can't see any damage on side two, and on side one, just several small scratches on first track.
When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.
Postage at cost within UK - £3.20 plus 50p for a proper record mailer with two stiffener sheets of cardboard (or whatever's appropriate). Happy to do combined postage wherever practical. I'll charge you what it costs me - so anything up to six (or so) LPs would still be the same charge, £3.70. One can send up to 2 kilos for £3.20. For UK buyers - if you buy several items on the same day, and you're looking for combined postage, don't pay, and message me to ask for an invoice that includes combined postage.
Dispatch will usually be "next day", if you pay promptly. My auctions end on Sundays, and I post on Monday afternoon. I only go out to post once a week, during lockdown, so if I receive payment after 14.00 Monday, parcel goes into the next Monday's posting.  Collection in person is usually welcome, but not when there are lockdown rules in effect, which forbid it.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer. They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer. This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.
Please be sure that you understand what the postal charges will be, before bidding. 
E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery and customs charges are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges individually for the items, then do not bid. 
Overseas customers - please DON'T request an invoice - I can't make one, and it screws-up the e-bay system.
International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme. If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid. International postage to the following countries will be shown (this is the latest list that I've seen - lotta countries!) Applicable customs charges will be shown to buyers - E-Bay collects customs duty for the receiving country, wherever import duty is appropriate. If you don't want to pay the customs charges, do not bid. Since "Brexit", customs charges are likely between UK and EU countries.
I don't send to China (because I prefer not to), and I also don't send to Japan, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru, as importation of vinyl records is not permitted in their customs regulations.
