THE SMITHS - "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" 12" 1986 SIRE RECORDS PRO-A-2571
Ultra-rare 1 song (same on both sides) promo 12" from the "Queen Is Dead" LP. Both sides (4:02). Blank white back cover. This 12" ranks #39 on the official-rarest-Smiths-collectibles list, though many collectors think it should be higher (or lower depending on how you look at it) as it rarely ever turns up. Formerly a radio station copy, the front cover is a little worn...it has a piece of clear scotch tape on the front and a minor blemish where scotch tape was removed (I believe there was a review taped on at one point). No seam splits but shows slight shelf wear. Sounds worse than it is. The vinyl is in much better condition however, it has light paper scuffs from removing it from the sleeve, but no scratches. Plays beautifully with NO pops or surface noise. Nows your chance!..this one doesn't come around very often.
