Description
This is an original, mint condition Smiths promotional 12" "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out". It was issued by Sire Records U.S. in 1986. It was distributed to radio stations, the music press and selected music industry V.I.P.s. It was never made available to the general public. The 12" has "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" on both the a and b sides. It comes in a cardboard sleeve that has an image on the front along with the band's name and song title (see photo). The back of the jacket is blank. The label is a standard yellow Sire with "Promotional Copy Not For Sale" printed on it. It has had one owner, a former record company executive who has had it filed away since 1986.
