Scarce 2001 Matador special reissue of seminal psych post-punk classic. There is a 1" tear in the upper left hand corner of the cover (pictured), which was made when the previous owner tried to shove one of the discs into the tight-fitting sleeve. This could be easily repaired by a skilled paper mender. As such, it is a small blemish that is only noticeable upon close inspection (there is also a light corner ding on that same side, but it is only visible from the rear). I will leave it up to the next owner how he or she wants to proceed, but either way, I will pack the LPs separately so they are not housed in the jacket. As for the discs, they range from VG+ to NM. Disc 1 has a few hairline scratches. Discs 2 & 3 are largely flawless. All discs have some very mild discoloration that is only visible under intense light (a manufacturing imperfection common to Matador pressings of the time). None of these things affect play. I listened to all discs on my Riga turntable and they sounded great from end to end. All of the extras--the 45rpm single and the booklet--are in tiptop shape. This is one of the rare copies that includes a poster, and it's NM.
