Description

Sonny Rollins - A Night At The Village Vanguard - Blue Note BLP 1581
US mono pressing with a 1957 first edition label on side 1 (47 West 63rd, no INC/R) and 1962 third edition label on side 2 (New York USA).  Both sides have a deep groove with Plastylite P (ear) and RVG in trail off. 
Cover is front laminated as per the first editions.
Likely pressed around 1962 or 1963 when Blue Note was still using up old West 63rd label and cover stock.
Record condition: Near Mint Absolutely spectacular condition, looks like it has barely been played. The vinyl shines like new and it plays as clean as it looks - a real beauty.
Cover condition: Very Good Displays nicely on the front, just some light edge chipping. The slick on the spine/top seam is worn in a few spots, exposing the bare card beneath. The bottom seam has a 1" split at the open corner.  The back has moderate discolouration.
