BEATLES UK – With the Beatles, very 1st UK issue Mono ‘Jobete’ label.

1963 PMC 1206 - yellow and black Parlophone labels.

A very first issue UK Mono album in original condition, featuring:

1. the record label on side two has a mis print for the publishing credit for the song ‘Money’, shown as ‘Jobete’, this error was soon corrected to these very first UK issue Mono 1/1 matrix records,

2. the label and the sleeve feature the mis press ‘gotta’ spelling, this was soon changed to read ‘got a’, for the track, ‘You really got a hold on me’,

3. the sleeve is more unusual as it is made by the company ‘E J Day’,

4. the record label on side two has a more ‘textured surface’ around the spindle hole than to the rest of the label.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very  good ++ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The sleeve is made by E J Day. There are NO thumb nail creases to the front of the sleeve. The spine is in very good++ condition and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The unlaminated rear of the sleeve has remained clean and white for its age. The sleeve features the period tri flipback design to the rear. There are NO splits, tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There appears to be some light water marks to the bottom rear flipback.

THE VINYL: side one is in very good+ condition, side two is in very good++ condition. The vinyl is made of the period ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. It has remained dark and glossy.

The matrix nos. are:  XEX 447 – 1N   and   XEX 448 – 1N,   

The mother/stampers are:   ‘ 1  3   G G O ’ and  ‘ 3  L H ’.

THE AUDIO: is near excellent, it plays with the usual light ‘dusty’ crackle. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: are in excellent condition, there are the letters ‘KT’ embossed around the spindle hole on side one of the label. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING  -  ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.

DISCOUNT WILL BE GIVEN ON POSTAGE FOR MULTIPLE PURCHASES.

IN THE UK – RECORDS THAT SELL FOR OVER THE VALUE OF £45 WILL BE SENT ‘RECORDED DELIVERY’ AND THERE MAYBE AN ADDITIONAL COST FOR INSURANCE AS THE SELLER HAS NO PROTECTION IF THE ITEM GOES MISSING IN THE POST, THEREFORE POST AND PACKING CHARGES MAY VARY.
