Description
BEATLES UK – With the Beatles LP, very early sleeve and a ‘MTK’ tax code.
PMC 1206 – Mono black and yellow Parlophone labels.
A UK album in original condition, featuring:
1. the front sleeve photo shows the very darkest variant that you can get for this, a very early printed sleeve. The image is so dark in fact there is no detail at all to be seen on the shadow side of the faces. The photo also appears to be very ‘grainy’, ie, less clear. Efforts were made by the printers of the sleeve to ‘lighten up’ the image on later sleeves so more detail could be seen on the faces. See the photo for the comparison, the image on the left is taken from a later sleeve where the photo image is ‘lighter’ and clearer, the image to the right is the sleeve for sale and is much darker and has a ‘grainy’, ie less clear appearance,
2. side one of the record label has an unusual ‘M T K’ tax code embossed onto it,
3. the record label has the spelling of ‘got a’ but on the sleeve this track title is spelt ‘gotta’ for the track ‘You really got a hold on me’.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the front is laminated. The front laminate is excellent and relatively crease free. The rear for the sleeve has remained very clean for its age. The spine is in excellent condition and all the text is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve has the period tri flipback design. There are NO splits, tears, stains, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ sleeve. The sleeve has remained an excellent clean fresh condition. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue to the sleeve. There are some light age related small marks to the sleeve.
THE VINYL: is in excellent+ condition. The vinyl has remained very dark and glossy and is made from the period, thick, heavy vinyl.
The matrix are: XEX 447 – 7 N and XEX 448 – 7 N,
The Mother / Stampers are: ‘1 L O ’ and ‘ 1 G G H ’.
THE AUDIO: is excellent, the vinyl lays flat on the turntable.
THE LABELS: are in excellent++ condition, the letters ‘M T K’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side one. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
