Description

Here’s a very rare original pressing of James Brown’s first album, entitled “ Please Please Please”. It’s on the King label, number 610, from 1958. This is the very rare early variation with the small King logo on the label… most copies have the larger 3” logo! The vinyl grades a strong VG, some superficial marks, a couple audible “needle runs” on “Try Me” that did not skip, at least on my player. The cover is in very nice shape, nice graphics, just a short seam split on top and bottom. Drop me a message if ebay doesn’t calculate shipping for you. California residents add 8.225% tax.
