An original 1st press of INNERV on UK Tamla. Note how the perimeter text mentions 'Gramophone' - indicative of 1st issue. Matrix A1/B2. Lovely heavy-set vinyl [I would personally insist on this - on this title]. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with white company inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. Nice looking labels! A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with just a couple of minor deviations. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. I'm a BIG fan of this title - and would imagine there are a few others out there who are massive fans. So, why would one want to compromise on an out and out great rendition. Lots of low frequency funk tones. High-end transients. This is quite a taxing title from an audio perspective. VERY difficult to find a truly super player. But I am pleased to report that this example is composed and consistently playing well. The very fussy 'Love is Fair' & 'Visions' often exhibit issues...but this example delivers a great rendition with just the odd crackle here and there in. 'Golden Lady' often suffers groove-wear...but not on this example. Nothing upfront at all. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) Difficult to find in top level condition - they nearly always tarnished. This example has avoided most of the ageing process and there's little surface wear.  The interior looks great - no issues. Slightest edge wear. Spine 95% intact with minimal wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
