Description

An original 1st press of INNERV on UK Tamla. Note how the perimeter text mentions 'Gramophone' - indicative of 1st issue. Matrix A2/B5. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with white company inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Great lustre. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. Nice looking labels! A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. I'm a BIG fan of this title - and would imagine there are a few others out there who are massive fans. So, why would one want to compromise on an out and out great rendition. Lots of low frequency funk tones. High-end transients. This is quite a taxing title from an audio perspective. VERY difficult to find a truly super player. But I am pleased to report that this example is well well above the average copy. The very fussy 'Love is Fair' & 'Visions' often exhibit issues...but this example delivers a great rendition with just a very occasional slight crackle. 'Golden Lady' often suffers groove-wear...but not on this example. Just a couple of slight crackles - really really good. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) Difficult to find in top level condition - they nearly always tarnished. This example has avoided much of the ageing process and there's little surface wear.  The interior looks great - no issues at all. Minimal edge wear. Slight let down on the spine...bit of wear in places e.g. right at top and some ageing. Text still mostly legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
