The legendary 1954 Fritz Reiner/Chicago Symphony Orchestra performance of a Strauss war horse. Recorded directly to 2-track analog by Jack Pfeiffer, the original session tapes were used in mastering for LPs and SACDS. I opened and played this record once.
This 33 1/3 LP is now on backorder at Acoustic Sounds, in other words it's out of print and Chad Kassem has indicated he will not reprint this 33 1/3 lp.
I'm downsizing my record collection, which is mainly classical. I will be listing my collection, many which are new/sealed over the coming days and weeks.
