Description
Here is a very rare find, especialy since it's in MINT UNPLAYED condition: The Subhumans (from Vancouver, Canada) second 7" entitled " Firing Squad " released in 1980 on Quintessence Records including BOTH the UNCENSORED pink sleeve with a picture of people being litteraly shot by a firing squad (and children in a classroom on the other side!) and the other black and white picture sleeve they used when the stores didn't want to sell the violent pink sleeve. That second "censored" sleeve has a picture of the band on it and the lyrics to the two songs Firing Squad and No Productivity on the other side. In the dead wax, you can read : "LMS.SUBHUMANS.A", "3705", "TLC-T", "GC" and "LMS.SUBHUMANS.B". These are two of the greatest punk songs of all time! No Productivity was covered by the equally legendary D.O.A. (with the Subhumans' singer Wimpy Roy now in the band!) on the " Terminal City Ricochet " soundtrack. On this release, the Subhumans were: Wimpy Roy (AKA Brian "Sunny Boy Roy" Goble) - Vocals, Gerry Useless (AKA Gerry Hannah) - Bass, Koichi Imagawa (AKA Jim Imagawa) - Drums and Mike Graham (AKA Mike Normal) - Guitar. Shortly after the release of this 7", Gerry Hannah quit the band, sold his guitar and became an urban-guerilla! He spent five years in prison in the beginning of the 80's for bombing a nuclear-warhead plant in Toronto and a dam that threatened the environment in B.C.! Talk about being dedicated to your cause! :) RECORD in MINT UNPLAYED condition and BOTH SLEEVES in MINT condition (SEE PICTURE)! Winning bidder to pay shipping. Pay by money order, PayPal or well concealed cash (send at your own risks) Please take a look at my other auctions :) Please Note that I sell to ANYBODY willing to pay (no country-discrimination here!) and I won't charge an arm and a leg for shipping. You'll pay exact shipping charges. Me too, I hate those people who ask more money for "handling" or "packing" or "their time". I do the work by myself and with a smile and I recycle envelopes and boxes and use brown bags for packing and I pack well :) I treat my customers the way I like to be treated!
