Description
Here is one of the original SUPER RARE test pressings of the very first Sunny Day Real Estate single Flatland Spider/The Onlies. These two songs were recorded before Jeremy Enigk even joined the band. At the time the band was:
Dan Hoerner (vocals/guitar)
Nate Mendel (bass)
William Goldsmith (drums)
Nate and William would go on to be the original rhythm section for Foo Fighters after this band. There would have only been a handful of these test pressings made. They are designed to be played by the band/management before approval to press the final record. This was acquired from someone who worked with the band at the beginning.
The catalog number was written on the original generic paper sleeve which I have included. This is in incredible condition. The vinyl itself is very glossy with no damage I could see under a bright spotlight to note. I know this is an expensive LP so if you have any questions please ask before purchasing and I’m happy to help. LP will be shipped very securely in a record mailer placed into a larger box with plenty of padding for extra protection.
