Supertramp Paris Vintage Vinyl 2xLP 1980 VG+ Live Pop Rock A&M Records SP-6702
Supertramp – Paris
Original 1980 Vinyl Double LP, Gatefold Cover, Color-Printed Inner Sleeves
Vinyl = VG+; Cover = VG+
This is the original double album (2xLP) from the 198o release of Paris by Supertramp. Most of its 40 years were spent safe and sound in climate-controlled storage.
Some bands are meant to be heard live. Supertramp is one and Paris is proof. Needing both a break and a strong follow-up to the worldwide success of Breakfast In America, the band members were given unlabeled recordings from recent concerts and asked to vote for their favorite tracks. Unexpectedly, the majority of votes were cast for tracks from a single concert at the Pavillon de Paris on November 29, 1979. The result was Paris, a 2xLP collection of live music by a band at its creative and commercial peak.
This release includes original artwork on the outside of the gatefold cover plus concert photography on the inside and across both of the custom color-printed inner sleeves. This copy of Paris was purchased at Tower Records in West Covina, California, on September 20, 1980.

TINY STORE. BIG MUSIC.
By design, I don’t carry a ton of listings at any one time. Of those I do carry, some have a personal connection, all have a good story to tell or something unexpected to share, and each element—record and cover—comes with a grading of VG+ or better.
Whether it’s a recent discovery or something pulled from my private collection, each listing will be described accurately, graded appropriately, priced accordingly, shipped securely, and ready to play upon arrival.
Enjoy the music,
