Privately pressed by Clyde Hankins CHLP-8978 from 1956 by Clyde Hankins. Clyde was the Adair music store clerk in Lubbock, Texas who sold Buddy Holly his first Fender Stratocaster, showed him the features of the guitar and expanded Buddy's musical tastes beyond hillbilly & bop. This record was self-produced by Clyde and he was assisted in the recording by none other than Norman & Vi Petty. The album consist of 12 tunes of excellent guitar work with some great fingering technique.
Cover/Vinyl: VG/VG++
Cover has 4.5" split on bottom edge toward opening, 1.5" on top edge in the middle, and a 2" split on spine in the middle. Some sticker residue on upper left corner, as well as some light spotting. Vinyl itself looks great without any scratching.
