Description

Sylvester's Juke Box - Juke Box/ Guess It's Because -CBS 1973

Condition: EX

Very rare and sought after, especialy as Demos seem more common than the standard issue. A perfect copy
Sylvester’s Juke Box is in fact an off-shoot project by  Kim Larsen from the mighty Danish Rock kings GASOLIN! If anything, be sure to check out Rabalderstraede (AKA What A lemon), for a pillaging -no- mercy-shown-Viking take on Hanky Panky!!!. Juke Box is a strange choice for an A side as it’s a melodic semi-instrumental with a nice 12 string acoustic theme. The drums and backing vocals kick in just at the right time and it ends up being pretty hooky affair in its own right. The B side of this single, apart from the Scandinavian slant of the vocals, make a perfect illusion of a late 60s Kinks. A lovely tune

Grading. I don’t use the term Mint. I don’t believe that records manufactured over 30 years ago, even if unplayed, can be called mint.

Grading: Record/Cover

EX: Means either “near mint” to some light very marks with hardly any noticeable noise. Sleeve has no or only minor wear.

VG: Means means some light noticeable background sound and more pronounced marks which do not affect the listening experience in a major way. Sleeve may be creased, minor discolouring, the odd fraying, some ringwear, seam split and perhaps some  writing.

G: Means noticeable clicks or pop, may have scratches, but doesn’t skip or jump. Sleeve may be ripped, tape repair, large writing, sticker removal damage etc...

Fair: Not a pleasant listening experience, the disc is damaged, just a stop gap before upgrading. Sleeve is badly damaged, not one to frame on the wall...

Poor: I don’t sell records in poor condition

All records sent out in professional mailers with 2 stiffeners. Records removed from sleeve if housed in picture sleeve.

I retain proof of postage for all items. High value packages will be insured. Insurance at cost

Payment: UK= PayPal or cheque (item sent when cheque has cleared). Overseas =PayPal only

Thanks!
