This is a completely revised and updated version of The Tapestry of Delights, originally published in 1995. Many entries have been rewritten, more have been added and all have been updated to include relevant releases since 1995.

The book covers British rock and pop between 1963-1976. It includes detailed discographies (albums, EPs, singles and retrospectives) for almost all entries as well as personnel details, biographical information, in most cases some comment about the music, compilation listings and an up-to-date rarity scale for album and 45 releases between 1963-1976.

A wide range of musical genre are covered: mainstream rock and pop, Merseybeat, R&B, folk, folk-rock, jazz-rock, blues-rock, psychedelia, freakbeat, glam-rock, progressive rock, including many artists who didn't attract the publicity they deserved at the time and many who'd never appeared in music encyclopaedias before. This is currently the most comprehensive and detailed encyclopaedic guide of this era.

Grades are "Cover/Record"

Sealed : unopened, still in shrink.

M  : new, unplayed and is in perfect condition.

M- : the record might have been played but it has no defects other than pressing stains that do not affect sound quality.

EX : only slight signs of wear; very clean, only light surface marks which will not distract significantly from the sound. Cover also has only slight wear, and is still in nice collectible condition.

VG+ : played often with moderate surface wear and some moderate noise - still plays well. Cover may have medium overall wear or some ring wear.

VG : overall wear, but no skips of serious defects, more noisy sound during quiet passages. Cover is well worn, usually with considerable ring wear.

INFO SEALED: Lp's & CD's will be opened & checked if desired after payment is received. I can't offer that recourse if you want the Lp sent sealed.
