Description
Up for auction at NO reserve is the Thad Jones Mad Thad LP on Period, catalog # SPL 1208. This is the original MONO deep groove pressing on the red/black/grey/white label. The LP is NM-, pristine, may be unplayed, a beautiful pressing of this rare lp. The laminated cover is VG/VG+, with 6" split in spine from center to top, 2" split at lower right corner, some other light seam wear, and a small amount of laminate peel in lower right corner.....back cover has price written in pencil in upper right corner, and some light creasing in upper left corner, otherwise nice and white. Vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI. Includes original glassine (wax paper) inner sleeve. Taken from two sessions, personnel includes: Thad Jones; Frank Foster; Jimmy Jones; Jo Jones; Doug Watkins; and, on the other session: Thad Jones; Frank Wess; Henry Coker; Tommy Flanagan; Elvin Jones; and Eddie Jones. All LPs are shipped outside of the album cover in a brand new sleeve and are packed in dedicated record mailers with sturdy cardboard inserts. Shipping is $7.00 via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation in the US or Airmail to Canada. $12.00 Airmail to Europe and the UK, $14.00 to my friends and customers in the Pacific.
