Description
Available here is a 12" vinyl LP by The Alan Skidmore Quintet - Once Upon A Time. A UK 1st pressing stereo incarnation, it was issued in this form by Deram/Nova with the catalogue number SDN 11. I believe that it first appeared in 1970, although a 1969 date is printed on the centre labels.
Identifiers - Something of a rarity and very collectible, this one has red and silver Deram/Nova labels, whereas the majority of the stereo versions seem to have been produced with blue labels. It isn't clear from Discogs which came first, although the record bears the stated 1st pressing marks.

Vinyl Condition - Excellent - The record is very bright and clean and clearly well cared for - barely a surface mark and no worrying scratches. Having listened to both sides, I can confirm that there is no jumping or sticking. Background crackle/noise is almost non-existent but on the occasions that it is discernible, then very low level. I probably heard two or three light clicks which may well disappear with a little more surface cleaning. Overall, a lovely record - you’ll do well to find a better copy.
Cover/Sleeve Condition - Very Good+ - Original front laminated sleeve with light signs of wear, most noticeably around the outer edge. Blue print, poly-lined inner, is as issued and remains in excellent condition.
The track listing is as follows …
A1 - Once Upon A Time
A2 - Majaera
A3 - The Yolk
B1 - Old San Juan
B2 - Free For Al
B3 - Image

It is not my intention to profit from postage. If possible I use good clean recyclable material but I also buy bubble wrap, brown paper, packing tape and glue and all items are well wrapped and protected before posting. Items are also weighed and postage calculated before I list at auction and a small percentage of the charge does go towards packing costs.
I will accept returns on any item which is not as described and refund all costs upon safe receipt.
See "Me" for further general despatch information.
