This is the UK 1st Press of Abbey Road by The Beatles. The vinyl is complete with the earliest YEX 749-2 / YEX 750-1 matrix, the earliest dark green Apple label. The label omits the 'Her Majesty' text and the record is complete with the original back inner sleeve and fully laminated misaligned Apple Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl has a sensational bright gloss, with no sign of heavy play at all. There are just a few insignificant very light marks on both sides. The label is completely clean with bright green and sharp text. There is NO spindle wear, just a couple of very faint spider marks. The record is complete with the original black inner sleeve. It does have one edge split but it is still exceptionally solid and clean.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There is excellent clarity and audio separation, just the very slightest background noise, but this is very faint and certainly does not spoil the enjoyment of this album at any point.
The original misaligned Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in Very Good condition. The laminate has a superb mirrored gloss and the colours are still bright. There is light corner and edge wear. On the back the text is clear and the colours are bright. The sleeve is still solid.
