33 1/3rpm 7" Beatles Record / vintage Vinyl
THE BEATLES Across the Universe 3:38 Promo? for World Wildlife Fund SQ3–Mono / publishing 1969 / I was happy to come across this in the universe :) / I believe this is a promo or maybe test pressing of a record made as a fund raiser / it is the size of a 45 but plays as a 33, and the flip side, of which you can see faint printing (see photo) is nothing but tones I'm guessing to be test tones / in white sleeve and in EXC shape overall. I just put it on and played it. I have an Ion player at my office, with no pitch control. This plays at 33 1/3. When I play it on my ion it plays fine, but it sounds to 'fast'. If I had a player with the pitch wheel, I could probably bring it back. But as is on my player, set to play 33, it still sounds a little Fast. NOW that said, the time on label says 3:38, and when I play it, it comes out right at 3:38. So, it might just be the mix, or it's a test run, and then the actual ones they did for the Wildlife sounded more to speed? I don't know enough about this particular Record to know. That said, see pics and Let me know if you got questions. Frazier - 601.859.8596.
PLEASE ask all questions before bidding and I'll do my best to answer them or say I don't know.
