This record is in very good+ condition. It has some spindle marks visible on each label but there are not loads. There is also no pen marks, scuffs, stains or major issues. There is some light wear around the centres but nothing extreme and they are not loose. Overall the iconic yellow and black Parlophone labels are in good shape with all text legible and no really major issues to report. They also have all text associated with the UK 1st pressing. I.e,"The Gramophone Co." in the radial text, "Sold in the U.K. Subject To Resale Price Conditions, See Price Lists" across label and the * credit indicator for “I Need You” placed to the right of the song title with a space between: I Need You *.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides show signs of use and age but also have no deep, nasty or major marks/scratches. There is light lines showing, minor scuffs and general signs of use, age, handling and wear. Overall a used vintage lp that has signs of play and use but is also not trashed. It still has a nice lustre and is in good playable condition overall.
I play tested the record and it played tidily. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no arm movement. The audio produced is a solid grade of VG+ with no skips, sticks or loud annoying tics. Saying this I did notice two light tics around 20 seconds into track 1 on side 1(small line). Other than these two brief tics it play well as I say with some light surface noise in the run ins and between tracks but the majority of the audio of good clarity. Overall an enjoyable listen throughout with no major faults and tidy audio.
The laminated flipback sleeve is in excellent- condition. It has no major issues such as tears or splits but does have signs of its age. It has only mild wear to the edges and corners with the spine all clearly legible. It does have a small pen mark to the rear top left corner however. There is also a ring mark showing to the laminated front, and some creasing in places. The rear is generally tidy but does have some light age related discolouring and mild grubbiness. Overall a solid and tidy sleeve with no major issues but general signs of its age. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It includes its original 'Use Emitex' inner which is solid with no splits but has some grubbiness and signs of age. The record will be sent in a brand new plain white replacement inner to ensure it is clean and ready to play.
