Description

Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Help! 12" 1965 RARE first press MONO YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE LP vinyl' in overall EXCELLENT condition.
This particular pressing is relatively rare as it features the less common Times New Roman font on the labels!

VINYL:-
Visual:

  • Side 1 - hairlines and sleeve removal trails only, nothing major. Rated as EXCELLENT-. Label is EXCELLENT-.
  • Side 2 - same as Side 1 but with a few extra small marks. Only light, nothing feelable or major!

Audio:
  • Audio is currently rated as EXCELLENT-! I have play tested this all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO STICKS and NO JUMPS on my system! Minimal background crackle is present but it's barely noticeable! Never really interferes with the music and can only really be heard in between tracks. There is also some light repetitive ticks but only on a couple of tracks - never becomes overbearing! Loud, crisp and very punchy! Original tonality is present. Lies flat and plays very well!

Original EMITEX inner sleeve is VERY GOOD+ with NO SPLITS!! Just slight discolouration and creases.

The original flipback sleeve is 100% intact and houses the record very well. I rate it as EXCELLENT-/EXCELLENT. The front is really glossy, white and clean! There are a few light creases and slight wear to the opening edge but nothing major!! The rear of the sleeve is clean - as are the flipbacks! Spine is 100% readable and nice and square!
Overall, a very nice first pressing of Help! with the rare TNR font!

As with all the vintage records I sell, I advise a deep clean to enhance the sound quality of the record. Overall, a great 1965 MONO copy of Help!
