Description
Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Help!' 12" 1969 ULTRA RARE small solid stereo sleeve final yellow and black Parlophone LP vinyl' in overall VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT- condition.
This particular pressing features the ULTRA RARE 'small solid stereo' logo on the front of the sleeve in the upper right hand corner! The usual stereo logo is larger and it is just the outline of the word. These particular sleeves don't show up too often and were only used for a short time!! Also, the final yellow and black Parlophone label was used for no less than 3-4 months! Rarely shows up and it's very difficult to get hold of!!
VINYL:-
Visual:
- Side 1 - lots of very light hairlines and sleeve removal trails but nothing deep, serious or feelable! Rated as VERY GOOD+. Label is VERY GOOD+.
- Side 2 - same as Side 1, just needs a clean! Label is VERY GOOD.
Audio:
- Background crackle is kept to an absolute minimum and is only really audible in between songs! Even then it is difficult to hear! Currently rated as EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+! A fantastic stereo mix with lots of punch and crisp original tonality! A very enjoyable listen indeed! Lies very flat and plays very well! NO SKIPS, NO STICKS and NO JUMPS on my system!
Original sepia EMI advertising inner sleeve is in GOOD+/VERY GOOD- condition. There is a large split along the bottom edge and two smaller splits - 1 on either side. Could do with replacing but it's still an original from 1969!
Original ULTRA RARE SMALL SOLID STEREO 1969 flipback sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition! There is no graffiti, writing or major damage! Several small laminate creases to the front of the sleeve. Rear of sleeve has some weird staining lines on the back - please see ALL pictures! Slight discolouration but no graffiti! Spine is 100% readable, just has some light creases but nothing major. Sleeve is intact but slightly discoloured in places - please see pictures!! The solid stereo on the front is undamaged and looks great!
Overall, an ULTRA RARE sleeve variation and pressing that rarely shows up! DO NOT MISS OUT!!
