Description
Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Help!' 12" 1969 ULTRA RARE small solid stereo sleeve EMI Parlophone LP vinyl' in overall EXCELLENT- condition.
This particular pressing features the ULTRA RARE 'small solid stereo' logo on the front of the sleeve in the upper right hand corner! The usual stereo logo is larger and it is just the outline of the word. These particular sleeves don't show up too often and were only used for a short time!!
VINYL:-
Visual:
- Side 1 - a few hairlines and light scratches but not deep or feelable! Rated as EXCELLENT-/EXCELLENT! Label is EXCELLENT!
- Side 2 - same as Side 1 but with a few more very light scratches that are non-feelable!
Audio:
- Light background crackle throughout but it's not that noticeable and never really interferes with the music! Very punchy, crisp and loud! Currently rated as VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT-! A very enjoyable listen! Lies very flat and plays very well! NO SKIPS, NO STICKS and NO JUMPS on my system!
Original EMI advertising inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition! No real damage - nice and crisp! No splits just some very light rubbing along the bottom edge about an inch but not a split!
Original ULTRA RARE SMALL SOLID STEREO 1969 flipback sleeve is in VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT- condition! Nice and clean with no graffiti, writing or major damage! There is a fair bit of laminate creasing (please see all pictures!) and very light ringwear. Rear of sleeve is clean with minor age-related wear to the flipbacks - nothing major! Slight damage to the bottom flipback (please see pictures). All flipbacks are intact and tight however! Spine is lovely and square, fully readable and in EXCELLENT condition! Just a few creases here and there but still fully readable!
Overall, an ULTRA RARE sleeve variation that rarely shows up! DO NOT MISS OUT!!
